For the second time in European basketball history PAOK will play in Latvia. Again in the capital Riga, but this time with VEF Riga and not with Skonto Riga, which had faced the 2002-03 season competitions for players of FIBA ​​Europe Cup.

PAOK and Skonto Riga shared the victories in the games of that season, with the Latvian winning 107-76 in a game that took place (on 02.25.2003) in Latvia and PAOK won the second game that took place (on 26 / 3 / 2003) in the PAOK Sports Arena.
